What's To Come

Cont’d from page 3

In this new fast age, morals, sincerity and scruples are very much things of the past. Family life is in disarray, drinking is prevalent, gambling is an everyday must for some people and vice is considered normal.

We have rights to “free” gay people who wish to announce to the world their love for a member of the same sex. Some churches are now even blessing these ungodly acts, even though the scripture that they profess to follow condemn the very act that they are blessing! So, in whose name are these transgressors being blessed? Certainly not God’s, for God condemns these acts very clearly. The story of Lot is found in both the Bible and the Quran. The state of these people is clearly stated—they are wrongdoers and transgressors.

Violence is seen on every street and in every part of the world every day. No one is safe. Mugging, murder and rape are reported daily on every news channel in every part of the world.

Drugs are also a big problem for the society. Drugs dissolve the body, they dissolve the mind and they dissolve the soul and yet many people destroy themselves by taking drugs.

We not only have to contend with a decaying society, we also have to content with disasters of the natural kind. We are hearing of so much more natural disasters—tornadoes, floods, volcanoes and most recently the terrible earthquake in Turkey that left over 10,000 people dead. These natural disasters are becoming more and more prevalent and with increasing ferocity.

Our time on this planet is fast approaching its conclusion, and mankind is heading very seriously and very swiftly to the end of its time. But to whom can people turn when the religious clergy are plagued with hypocrisy and idolatry? When one religious group fights another? When peace and tolerance is very much a thing of the past? When all around them is in chaos and disaster, who is left then for mankind to turn to? The answer to that question is the same today, as it was thousands of years ago:

Surely, those who believe those who are Jewish, the Christians, the converts; anyone who believes in God and believes in the Hereafter and leads a righteous life will receive their recompense from their Lord; they have nothing to fear nor will they grieve. (2:62)

God controls all things. Is it not time for the believers to give up and realize that if God willed He could have guided all the people? The disbelievers will continue to suffer disasters, as a consequence of their own works, or have disasters strike close to them, until God’s promise is fulfilled. God will never change the predetermined destiny. (13:31)

So, when the world around you is in chaos and crumbling with decay remember who it was that created you and to whom it will be you return. Ask yourself who it is that you should be turning to at this time and I feel sure that those here today will unanimously say; GOD.

Praise be to God, Lord of the Universe.
